On a rare rainy day in Gilbert, I found myself drawn out by the soft, muted light that transforms the familiar. Lowering the camera close to the ground, I captured this Neotropic Cormorant as raindrops fell gently, lending a quiet motion to the scene while its calm posture stood out against the softened background.
