I spent time watching a Burrowing Owl that was mostly hidden behind some vegetation, with just its eye and part of its head showing. Instead of waiting for it to come fully out, I focused on that glimpse, framing the scene to highlight its quiet, watchful presence amid soft foreground and muted background. That subtle view created a sense of intimacy that stuck with me.
